The Grand Bonaventura
date: 20-03-2007

The First 34.7 Bonaventura, and its owner Gino Anastasia has produced an extraordinary list of achievements for Bénéteau and his team .

The victory of the First 34.7 Bonaventura at Riva di Traiano highlights the yacht’s performance as well as that of his crew.  Bonaventura sailed and competed against more than 100 of the best yachts and crews. The success at Riva di Traiano is even more significant, given the prestige that this event has acquired on the Italian market and also with regard to the excellent level of the participants.

After nine legs during which it fought alone against a very competitive fleet, Bonaventura finished the Riva di Traiano Winter Championship, FIRST OVERALL.

Bonaventura was the only First 34.7 and it was the winner in class 2 as well as overall, leaving behind the four agressive X35s specially supervised by the Danish Yard and skippered by sailors of international repute.

The final result shows regularity more than continuous performance, meaning the capacity to obtain the best results during the 9 legs run, fruit of the inherent performance of the boat and the excellent level of the crew.

Our thanks to the wole of the Bonaventura team and to all those who raced the Bénéteau yachts to their advantage during the regatta.  For the first time, a team wins at the same time in 3 different areas with three boats during the winter championships.

Moby Roma Winter Championship:  1st Overall and in second category - Bonaventura First 34.7

San Felice Circeo Winter Championship: 1st Overall and 1st in  category - Bonaventura First 47.7

Bénéteau 25 Nettuno Winter Championship: 1st outright Bonaventura B.25

Happy sailing to all our Bénéteau owners and fans.
