This year's Beneteau Cup will be held as planned on the 13th to the 15th November. The event, organised by Mediterranean Yacht Sales, should attract around 40 Beneteau sailing yacht owners to pit their skills against each other in an event which they themselves call “a success built on a blend of racing spirit and family fun.”
Once again, Beneteau, Medcomms and Atlas Insurance have been confirmed as major sponsors of the event. 'We are happy to be partners in such an event. We have always believed in this concept. Eight years on, the Beneteau Cup is probably the most popular local sailing weekend.' commented Mark Gaglione of Medcomms.
The racing will consist of 3 or 4 coastal races, mostly depending on weather conditions, which will take place between Friday and Sunday of the race weekend. The briefing will be held as usual on Tuesday 10th or Wednesday 11th November. More details will be available soon on www.medyachtsales.com
